I want to give a huge thank you to all of the faculty of the Advertising & Marketing Program at St.Clair for going above and beyond during the entire duration of the program. I would not have had a lot of the opportunities that I have been able to have without you getting us into the HubSpot courses and additional digital courses & certifications.
The foundational knowledge we learned initially (in the first and second year of the program) has proven to meet the requirements of many small to medium-sized business owners as well as the agencies that I have been able to communicate with or work for.
The knowledge gained during the 3rd year, in my experience, has put me well above the skill set desired by every SMB I have been able to work with. Additionally, every agency I have been in communication with, as well as the one I am currently working with have been pleasantly surprised when I explain to them the scope of digital & social knowledge I was able to gain throughout the program as well as with the additional resources such as the HubSpot courses.
I would like to credit all of the digital and social knowledge we gained from the courses in providing us with truly national and global opportunities. I wasn’t fully aware of this until graduation when I noticed there were thousands of businesses looking for the information that we learned over our 3-year journey.

The St. Clair Advertising program is so integrated in all aspects of advertising, from creative to, strategy, media planning, social, web, data and more. I am currently working in Data Science at Publicis Media, during my interviews I was asked to describe the program, I specifically remember explaining how each of my classes all tied together.
This program prepares you by teaching you every aspect of the industry and how each department goes hand in hand with one another.
On top of the classes, the program gives you the opportunity to work with real clients. The professors of the program themselves started an agency to give students a chance to gain real world experience with real clients. Being able to have experience working with real clients gave me the upper hand and confidence during the interview process once I graduated, as well as gave me the opportunity to expand my resume that was almost blank before I started the program.
The professors of this program were very adamant on us receiving certifications before we graduated to give us further experience and knowledge once starting a career in the industry. Specifically, receiving my Hubspot certification has given me the opportunity to stand apart from my other candidates while interviewing.

The Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program at St Clair College has opened my eyes to a world of digital marketing that I never knew existed. I went into the program thinking I knew everything, but I graduated from the program knowing I still have plenty to learn.
The program has given me an extensive range of skills and knowledge that I use every day as an SEO specialist. The curriculum goes “a mile wide and an inch deep,” in which students are given knowledge of the entire advertising landscape; allowing each student to find an aspect of advertising that resonates with them.
The Hubspot training I completed while in the program has helped me dive into the world of digital advertising deeper than I ever thought possible. I use HubSpot to help me monitor traffic on the websites I manage and generate leads to my eCommerce websites.
It is because of the skills I learned during my time at St Clair College that I feel confident in my work today.

As a recent graduate of the Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program at St.Clair College, I can without a doubt say that this program has prepared me for my first job in the marketing industry.
With the help of knowledgeable and experienced faculty, the practical experience I’ve received in this program has helped me learn most of what I know today.
In high school, I was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. The majority of my teachers suggested that I should go into a program at the University because it was the right and common path for students who were enrolled in this program. However, I decided to enroll in the Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program at St. Clair College instead.
It provided me with the knowledge and practical experience to work in the industry. Whenever I get offered an interview for a job, many employers are surprised at how much I know and that I have a variety of skills. After chatting with many recruiters, most of them stated that my certifications and practical experience that I’ve received in this program are what made me an applicant they wanted to interview.
The Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program has taught me so much during the past three years and being able to have the practical experience makes finding a job after graduating so much easier.
